ive slopped together a rig and posed a character the way i want him, and im trying to figure out if there is a way to export him in that pose back to modeler to tweak some of the points... i was told this was possible by saving an endomorph but im having trouble getting this to work . is their possibly a plugin or easy way i can accomplish this?

You should do it with save transformed not endomorph. And if you use subD's and want to export the lowpoly cage object you must set the display subdivision to 0. I hope this helps.

It might be useful to go the other way around and convert skels from modeler?

Dunno, it doesn't sound great when you say you "slopped" it.

You could mdscan the character and then use edit fx in layout to tweak the points.

ahhh thanks for your help guys cranking it down to 0 subds and exporting it worked =)
