His LightWave tools that comes with the books looks like a must have as well.

Thanks for the heads up. Looks like an excellent book. But I would like to know where on earth they came up with the name for the lightwave plugin. I don't think I can repeat it here. But for anyone who has not seen the site yet apparently the plugin is included with the book. From what I gather it will generate a light probe for an hdr image using a lw scene.

Just ordered my copy from Amazon, great tool SmartIBL, we should support Blochi for all the hard work he has done for the LightWave community. I use his Thickener plugin endlessly!

Wow, I was thinking some time ago to improve my Doom of Lights script to something similar. Nice tool!

Smart IBL rocks. Rather fun to use. Here's something I threw together with it the other day.

By the way, is there a way to enable it to use Final Gather?
