View Full Version : Round off sharp corners

Hey y'all,

Is there a standard way to round off sharp corners on simple primitive shapes (simple boxes, low poly objects)? I have some objects that look too sharp and perfect when rendering and I think rounding them off would reduce the flicker.

Thanks!

Bevel, edge bevel, something to that effect.

Thanks for the reply.

Is 'edge bevel' new to LW?

I am running 7.5c.

I use bevel all the time, but will that work once geometry has already been created? I mean thinking "polygonally", looking at a corner head on, is there a smoothing solution?

I know, if it were that easy, everyone would do it. :)

Just thought I'd ask.

Thanks!

Funny you mention it, I just found and played with Router.

Doesn't do the trick.

I'll go search for jettobevel now.

Thanks!
