What is the best technique for lighting a live-action shot that will have composited elements in it. Is it better to work with bright white light or green or blue? I've noticed CGI always seems brighter than live-action schtuff. Is it always better to keep the CGI darker if you are unsure?

Any lighting shots on blue, green always achieve with a good results and planning. CGi can always be manipulated in post editing for tweaking and adjusting things you might find and needs attentions. :D
