Is there way to slide an edge or a whole edge loop on the Mac UB LW? Or any UB Plugins or lscripts that work on the UB version?

If you don't know what a slide function is picture having an edge or a edge loop selected and being able to move it perpendicular to the direction of the edge while staying on the surface of the object. Great for organic and hard surface work.

Thanks!

I just watched a demo movie featuring this neat plug-in, which I believe is doing what you described:

I think there is a Mac version but I don't know if it's UB. I would ask the developer.

Hope this helps.

Thanks DR, I did actually see that plugin but I don't think it's a Mac UB. Not sure if it will be or not. I did leave a message for them over on SpinQuad.

Thanks for the info!

In anyone was looking for an edge slide solution that works on the MacUB version I found this LScript. You have to select the points rather than the edges but it works great...
