Hello Chaps.

There was a thread regarding PIM, a really spectacular real time viewer on these boards and it would seem the thread has taken a hit.

To say this is a shame is an understatement, as part of this thread we were discussing realtime 3D engines, there was some argument but not something entitling cencorship. I said. regarding TV3D..

Ah well, decision's been made. I'll write back in a month or two if it's a success or a disaster.Seemed everyone had a different take, which is is great, each to there own :)

Unfortunately these boards seem to have taken the last five threads as important and ditched the rest for perusal.

Not one to speak my mind here (Ok, that's a clear lie, I am someone to speak my mind), what on Earth is going on?

To clarify the reason of my post, here's what I'm getting in TV3D.
It's not perfect but it's ok,
LW, landscape converted to heightmap
LW, landscape converted to lightmap (LW radiosity+ 9.2/9.3's+ excellent baking)
Tents, LW Radiosity baking.
6000 trees (approx 30 poly, 3 types), 15000 millfoil (waterplants 1 poly), realtime reflection and refraction.
Lot to do yet, but I'm getting there with this engine.
Here's the vid, the original is 90+fps, the glitch you can see in the vid is fraps :)

Newtek, please return these threads to full functionality.

The PIM thread is still there.

Perhaps your settings cut off at 1 month.
Go to: UserCP> Edit Options

I have mine set to 1 year. You can set it show all threads too.

Nope its not new. I think it defaults to 1 month so its up to you to change it.

Someone else mentioned this last year and thats when I changed mine.

Last year???

Wow :D

It's funny though, I can go months without posting or reading a particular area and game dev is the first time I've seen this happen... I think.

Oh my withering brain. :help:
