Hello...I am BRAND new to lightwave, and have three very specific questions. One, how can I turn a jpeg into an object in order to use it in a 3-d project? Two, is there a way to create a square block and place that jpeg on each side? And Three, are rose petal objects included in the software or do I have to create or download them from elsewhere?

I would appreciate any help any of you could give me.

1. Use the jpg as reference to model from. Having at least a good front and side view helps. You can load images into modeler to use as reference

2. You can apply a surface to each side of the cube separately and then apply the jpg to each surface individually. You could also create a UV map and do it that way.

3. Probably have to create that yourself.

Here is a link to a rose tutorial. On the web site click tutorial at top then click Rosae[6] large. http://web.tiscalinet.it/gate3D/
