View Full Version : Color of imported OBJ files?

Hi all...

just a quick question here:

My default colors for wireframe shaded views are gray polys with a dark blue edges. But when I import an OBJ file the colors are gray for the polys and a lighter gray for the edges.

I do a lot of modeling in Silo so I import a lot of models as OBJ files and this always annoys me. I'm sure I'm just missing a preference for this somewhere but I can't find it.

Look for Change Sketch color in the interface. This will allow you to select what colour the wireframe is.

Thanks Dodgy,

...I see in the 'display options' I have a choice for the default sketch color, but this is set to dark blue now. But I don't see a place to change the sketch color for a specific object. So if I have a sphere modeled in LW it has the dark blue edges, but if I import a OBJ sphere it will have light gray edges right next to the sphere with the dark blue edges.

Do you know where I change the sketch color for specific objects/edges?

Thanks again!

nevermind... I found it...

Does anyone know how to make imported OBJ files keep the same sketch color as the rest of the models by default?
