Does anyone know if the TC studio can key in a clock? Would be for a scoreboard graphic that would essentially be on the sceen most of the time, like in a typical sports broadcast. Any help would be appreciated!

Oh gosh, would that be nice!!!
Right now, the only way we can do this is by using an Edirol LVS-400 switcher and have Camera 1 (High Perch center court cam) and camera 2 (fixed scoreboard cam) terminate into the LVS-400. We then feed the output from the LVS as a single input into the TCP. At least this gives us PIP and the ability to relocate the PIP into either of 4 corners. This way it doesn't interfere with the lower third graphics. Of course when we use three cameras we have to terminate all three cameras into the LVS or the PIP gets stepped on by the TCP, which defeats the whole purpose of the TCP. This is a real bummer. :thumbsdow
Relocatable PIP would be the greatest thing since......sliced bread, no make that Tivo.
Relocatable PIP would be the greatest thing since Tivo! Wish,Wish, Hope.

Hello my name is John. I am in developement on a new user-friendly score system. fully complete with functions. and easy to customize. Interested parties should reply. This system works great with the tricaster, tricaster pro and even better with the Studio model. Beta testing is currently underway at a local high school.

Welcome John

Shoot me an email when you have a moment. I would be glad to help you get things tested out. I have many clients that could use this functionality including the NCAA.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi All,

I have a custom solution available for purchase that does live clock, stats (that are linked to lower thirds), fade into commercial graphics, and a dead-time graphic.

The program currently has a basic scoreboard, and specialized ones for basketball and football. Other sports will be added as requested.

Contact me at [email protected] if you are interested in a basic demo.
NOTE: Currently, it is only OS X compatible.

Here are some videos of the scoreboard in action:

I don't think there are any shots of the lower third, but there is a little of everything else.

You can check out a trial of my program here:

http://www.gurwinproductions.com/scoreboard/files/ScoreKeepr_Trial.zip

It is OSX only, but includes both a custom basketball and football scoreboard. The stats program for football, while working is still not quite where I would like it. I am going to migrate it to a similar system to the way I have done basketball stats, which I feel works a lot better. In order for you to see the stats tool in action, you must leave the team names as “Home” and “Away.”

Let me know what you think.
