Hi there, I have a question about expressions

I have a rigged Object called NenedeFuego_High with some bones. One called Izq_BrazoBuffer need to follow

Izq_Brazo, with expressions in the same rotation coordinate. Rotation H.

I have this expression,


Name
NenedeFuego_High.Izq_BrazoBuffer.Rotation.H
Value
[NenedeFuego_High.Izq_Brazo.Rotation.H]

Iīve troubles when the object change, because this expression works well when the rigged object have only one

layer. But when I need to have more layers itīs impossible to use it.

For example, LW automaticaly change the expresion to this value. [NenedeFuego_High:Layer1.Izq_Brazo.Rotation.H]

and the expression stops working.

There is any way to solve this or to name the layer1 in modeler to something like "nene" and intruct the

expresion to consider that?

Try using lscript notation instead maybe. It's evaluates differently (interactive) and LW won't try to modify it. Also I suggest using the Expression motion modifier rather than a channel expression or modifier (in GE), if you aren't already, as it has the After IK flag and allows you to adjust (somewhat) when it evaluates.

NenedeFuego_High:Layer1.Izq_Brazo.rot(Time).h

I doubt LW expressions will respond well to changing object or layer names.
