Has anyone seen TRANSMORPHERS? I came across this movie at my loco video rental store today. It looks quite good as far as the box cover is concerned. Unfortunately, there were no copies left. So I am going to half to check it out on another day.
But I did do a search on Google and found some links. So far, every one is saying that it is a good film for a low budget movie. I found a trailer on U-Tube and I think it looks good. So as soon as there is some copies available at the video rental store, I am going to rent it.

Trailer link below.

hehe, good movie? :)
Copied one of the reviews...

I rented this movie last night and it was the GREATEST WORST movie i have EVER seen. The editor decided that he didn't even want to finish the movie. There are FULL scenes with NO soundeffects only actors talking. I MEAN NONE... there are scenes where the soldiers are pretending to shot their guns and nothing is coming out... I was on the floor laughing almost this entire movie.
Humm, still, I want to see it :D

My brother watched that some time ago and warned me about it - I guess he wasn't too impressed with it... ;)

It does have one of the worst movie titles ever.

Oh, great, another Asylum release...really, how does this company keep exisiting, i mean, 99% of their movies get scores below 2, seriously, there's not one movie you would want to watch unless some maniac was holding a shotgun against your temple.

Most of these movie experiences can be compared to rubbing your eyeballs over a cheesegrater, or crawling over broken glass with your fly unzipped...it's that painful to behold.

Just watched the trailer. Looks like one of those movies, you know, where people's careers die.

Fun stuff!! ;)

"Then, there are movies which are so awful, you laugh in spite of yourself because watching them is like watching a midget try to open one of those really high door knobs they have in doctor's offices to keep kids from getting into the methadone." ;)

Well that's twice as good as Troma...and I have all thier movies :D

And in reality, if you pay 10 actors 20 grand a movie and only sell 100,000 at 10 bucks a piece, there is quite a profit.

Worst scifi flick ever IS RIGHT!! What bothered me the most was that audio sync was off at times by almost 2 seconds. It was worse than watching a poorly dubbed Japenese monster flick!!

A friend of mine says that they produce lots of movies, usually to beat a particular blockbuster or "A" movie to the rental shelves, but they are really are fully crap!!

I also noticed that in the scenes with the TM's and some of the composite people shots, they were put in scene with no shadows, making them look like they weren't in the actual scene!!

I could go on and on, but........

Funny things is...while watching it i kept thinking to myself, 'okay, and here's where the porn starts...oh wait...no...now then....oh no...'

Everything about this movie was painfull to behold, the upscaled image mattes, the completely dry and very often off-sync audio, the terrible terriible 3d work (sub par even 10 years ago), etc...i can go on...but...i don't know...it's like seeing an traffic accident happen, it's too horrible to watch, but yet you keep watching, afterwards you want to forget, but you keep telling people about the experience...

If you have time for another movie try Flesh Gordon:

Dennis Muren was involved in this piece of art.

Flesh Gordon?! Now THAT'S a REAL classic!!

Jim Danforth also was involved in it too. Had his name credit changed and was spelled backwards!

Parodies are just the most blessed things that have been created by mankind. I still hear Weird Al yapping around when I see the name "Transmorphers", "UHF", or "Galaxy Quest"...
