I built my car and built a brindge and some lights then rendered it all and get these funny (funny perculiar not funny Ha Ha) lights going up above my street lights. I have attached the render - look above each street light you will see a 'ghost' light. Any ideas what might cause this?

The street light structure

The light bulbs are white and semi transparent. Then there is glass around that. In each bulb I have a point light at wit hambient at 15%, intensity at 2000%, and volumetric lighting on - set at 2 metres and 50% / 50%

Love to get your imput

Looks like it could be a leak in your streetlamp object, and the volumetric is seeping through it?

yes I played around and put a disc inside the light which stopped the problem. Previously I had spent a lot of effort to make sure it did not leak but I failed. As this is only my first attempt at a rendered sene I had never used volumetric before
