View Full Version : Double-sided poly not correctly exported to .X file

Hello all,
I just started using Lightwave and I have made a model of a moth, with double-sided (checked in the surface editor) wings.
When exported to .X file, the geometry seems to be exported correctly, however, the once double-sided poly is no longer double-sided. (see pic)

I am not sure what is the reason behind it, but maybe because double-sidedness is only a surface property, therefore actual poly is not ACTUALLY double-sided?

Please let me know if you know something, something.

yep. copy->paste->flip normal should fix it...

[edit: or if you have a double sided shader in your game engine you could use that]
