Am I the only one interested in Lightwave apperal? I'd like to get my hands on a nice black shirt with the red lightwave logo on the left or right chest area (like the one worn by Rex Olson in the Siggraph vids). Are those available anywhere? A cap would be kiler too. oooh and a keychain.

I think they should really push the T's and hats and use the money to hire another developer or two.

Dark navy blue, 2XL, 100% cotton, cow on the back over a large version of the new icon, small logo on the right upper front, pocket on the left for geeky stuff like pens, large text in the middle in gold, "Go ahead, make a scene".

Not to be too specific, that is... ;)

Yeah, a keychain too, with the logo in stainless steel, and some sort of hard plastic or leather protective dongle container hanging off it.

I'd gladly buy a hat, mug, and t-shirt. T-shirt could be any color and would be a nice alternative to the Ramones t-shirt I wear to most occasions.

multi colors for every day of week.
Oh and also maby one like I have now that has a fish in place of a tie, cept Newtek one can have a strip of film with Logo moving a bit in each frame going down length. I do need to dress formal sometimes. :D

Also hats MUST be netted in back...I don't wear full cloth hats.....EVER.

Throw in some VT5 stuff and some SpeedEdit stuff, and I got a full wardrobe.

Hehe, nice Matt.

My poor ole LW hat is getting really old. The black is so faded that it looks gray now. :(

Rule number one in looking cool, never wear anything with a logo on it.........

I think that rule could be allowed to be broken when nobody who sees it knows what the hell the logo is for. ;)

I second the second that has already been put out there for a Lightwave shirt. I would like to see one that had a really cool 3D model on the front, and across the back of the shoulders it would say Can I See the Wireframe?

I don't know how much sense it makes, but it would be fun to confuse everybody else in the whole world. :D

Unless you didn't pay for it. If you did... yeah, you suck :D

I love #1 though - for those who missed out on the coding one :D

This LW T-shirt idea would be a good thing for one of you enterprising types "out there" to create...

Then again, there are those businesses which will make a shirt, cap, mouse pad, coffee cup, and whatever else for you, if you send an image. I don't know any offhand, but I know they're out there.
It makes me wonder, though - say I took the avatar I'm using of a rendered version of the LW logo and made a T-shirt out of it. Wouldn't that be a copyright violation?
Of course, I doubt Newtek would come down on me if I did, but what about if someone took it upon himself to make T-shirts and such with the LW logo and sell them?
Obviously, the LW logo is registered to NT, but is a render containing the logo treated differently, considering the object was part of Content which is royalty-free where renders are concerned?

If it's just for you and not for profit or advertising (or defaming NT), it's no problem. If you went and started selling them you'd probably get a letter from their lawyers.

True, places like cafepress have very strict rules against that kind of thing, that is why I've not done it even for my personal use.
