Does anyone use E-On's Ozone 3.0? If so, can I get your impression of it?

Edit to add: Oh hey I just realized they just released it. Oops.

I've tried the PLE version, and it seemed very easy to use, convincing and quite quick to render.

I just wish that either Vue rendered faster or that Taiki was multiplatform. The dev is ignoring my mail :(

Plus, this braindead license-per-node is rather hostile :

I just use Vue directly to export a high detail sky with matching HDR...

Had version 2, was very grainy and slow, had an awkward workflow, had to invoke it from Master Pluggins but then, on a Mac at least, it launched as a standalone ap from the dock as if not really in LW proper. Still the upgrade price from two to three is so ridiculously low I may give it another shot, did good fogs and mists I remember.

Can anyone comment on the rendering speed inside lightwave compared with inside Vue? Also if the Ozone skies will provide HDR illumination inside lightwave?

As I remarked earlier, I like the skies but at the moment I just render a big map in Vue and apply it to the environment in Lightwave.

I'm curius if there is any advantage, apart from convenience and amination possibilities, in using Ozone in LW.

Does Ozone 3 have Vue6's Meta cloud feature?
