I think the ATI X1900 is the best it gets without spending $1500. ;)

I don't have anything to compare it to, but I'm pretty happy with my X1900... not sure if that helps at all...

buy the ati, have got the quadro fx 4500 for mac and it's not so good as it s said

I went for the Quadra fx 4500 and it's a lot better than my G5 with Geforce 6800. Haven't tried the X1900 though.

Using the X1900 here without hiccups. Bootcamp was a bit more of a pain to get to work with the drivers it thought I needed, ended up getting them from somewhere else but it all works now. Sorry I can't share more info on that - I'm a mac noob and to be honest I really have no idea what I did to get it working :rolleyes:

I've seen that the first release of this board had a heat problem, but that was fixed on newer models. These problem models come with the first released MacPros. All this come from the Apple site, on the store section you can read the opnions. Almost all new customers for this product (that change the originals or buy it separetelly) had god appreciations on it.
