I'm new to Lightwave, so this may just be a mistake, or may have already been created, but I woudn't know.

Anyways - I was trying to render something and made it come up like this.

Just kinda reminded me on the thread about how to stencil renders in lightwave.

Lol, yeah thats exactly what it was, I turned DOF on and thats what came out. I figured that other settings had to contribute to it to though....?

It looks like a particularly bad FPrime render

DOF and not enough samples, basically. It looks like one sample per pixel, which randomly shoot into a very out of focus area.

If you want to get it smooth, turn on Adaptive Sampling and lower the Threshold to taste.

Neat look though ;)
