View Full Version : 64bit and 32bit mixed render farm??

This is my first post after all these years but i really need a second opinion if this thing is possible.
Since LW8 i was working on 32bit WIN machines and i had my 10 nodes render farm running smoothly with Lightnet
BUT now i have upgraded my workstations to 64bit and i have installed the 64bit version of LW9.2 and now i can't run my render farm because i think the nodes are still in 32bit !!
Is there a way for 32bit screamers to open and render a scene created in the 64bit version of LW ?
Is there another workaround so i will not have to throw away my 32bit nodes
or am i out of luck?

aslong as your LWSN and your plugins that LWSN uses are 32bit, there is absolutely no problem.
LWS and LWO files are platform independant.
