View Full Version : Collision with Dynamic Linker

Dynamics newbie here. I've got a scene where I'm using an emitter and a fairly simple object connected together with FX Dynamic Linker and I'm trying to get the "particles" to accept my collision settings (see image). Do I apply collision stuff to the linked object before I use DL, or rely on the settings for the emitter to handle the collision stuff? Do I use Hard FX or Collision for the object? What it all boils down to is, I don't want the objects to touch.
Any ideas would be most helpful.

Can't you just increase the size of the particles so you're sure the objects won't intersect after FX-link?

As was stated, increase the particle size, turn on self interaction and hit the calculate button. :)
