Hi guys,
How do I get rid of the ground in the backdrop options? I just want the sky, I'm trying to get a blend of lighter sky to darker, and I don't want to see the ground. Any suggestions?

I seem to remember playing with the colour swatches- by making the middle two the same colour I think you can get a smooth gradient. But I find it simpler to create a photshop gradient and load it in the background.

Yes, I did that, it works. Thanks!

Or to get better control try activating 'Texture Environment' from the drop down list at the foot of the same panel (Add Environment), double click its name to make its options visible choose 'Y' axis and click the 'texture' button select gradient (set to Pitch) and start adding colors (as many as you like) hit 'F7' to open Viper and watch it update in real time, no need to pre-render.

That's a nice tip Gerry. So far I've been doing it the way wonderpup described (setting two swatches to the same color), but this way it is more flexible.
