View Full Version : movement but with no "after move"

Hi all,

I`m creating a series of animations and what id like to do is when an object hits a certain key frame then it doesn't "move". Its kinda difficult to explain.

Take a camera for example. If you have X key frames, start, middle and end. You rotate the camera 40 degrees so its 45 degrees at key-frame 4 (lets say), then I want it to remain stationary for 5 frames and then only move at key frame 9. However, what happens is that the cmaera starts to move immediately.

I know its something to do with motion options and tension etc..anyone have any advice?

Just make another key in the same place at the frame you want it to start moving at so that it is stationary in-between. Then, if due to other motions before or after, you have a "bulge" in the curve that is creating motion in the tween frames go to the graph editor and increase the tension on the bracket frames (frames either side of the bulge).

great. Thanks!

I was hoping someone would understand what I meant lol :)

Also you can turn the key to "Linear" in the graph editor.
