View Full Version : Action Script In Lightwave 9.2 Airplane

This might sound like a dumb question, but is there a way to do an action script or something in Layout that would allow me to fly an airplane like Microsofts Flight Simulator X?

I would need something that would not require the play button on layouts panel at the bottom right.

This is something like using Adobe Flash, but in Lightwave?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I saw somewhere on another website where a guy was playing pinball in his 3d application, something like this.

yes, with lots of time you could.

I remember someone coded a chess game in lw

Export to Director? Or use something like irrlicht (http://irrlicht.sourceforge.net/) (I've never tried it myself, I just mean look into cheap 3d engines). Seriously. I doubt it's possible with LScript, but it's been a while since I looked at it.

better solution may be to start somewhere else and then import the motion curve into lw.

as i say, for things like cars and planes, "hand animating" seems ridiculous to me in this day and age.
