View Full Version : Need help to set stepwidth for dynamics

I setup an emitter with hypervoxels. The particles have -10 y gravity. If I calculate the dynamics stepwidth is progressing.
1/1000 step 1, 2/1000 step 1, ..., 170/1000 step 2, 171/1000 step2, ..., 998/1000 step 30, 999/1000 step 30.
For example.

How can I keep stepwidth of dynamiccalculation to 1, because everytime the stepwidth changes, the video scatters/jitters?

A value of -10 for particles is really high. It's a little difficult to help not knowing what you want to achieve, but maybe you should simple use Velocity instead of gravity, with a particle resistance of 0.

Gravity is ok. And the camera takes the pictures fine. Only the jitter when stepwidth changes, is wrong.

You see the steps while calculating dynamics. Picture x/1000 step 3 (ctrl to stop). And I don't know why the step is changing all the time from 1 to 30 inbetween 1000 renders. If I render 2000 pics the stepwidt could reach 40 or 50.

The only thing I want is that stepwidth is 1 step for every picture from the first one to the last one.

I don't want a linear movement like velocity. It must be gravity (x^2).
