I am looking for some suggestions.

I am working with In Car Police Video. It is two cars in pursuit. The In Car Video is in the Viewer Certified "exe" file. The video/audio is in a AVD format.

The video has lights and sirens. I need to capture both video and audio.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Rick

How about shooting the computer screen?

Or Camtasia (or that other similar app, what's its name?) - or if you have a chum with a VT or TriCaster, iVGA capture.

Doesn't Snag-It also do video captures?

I need to do video and audio capture. I do not think Snag It will do audio.

Durn. What about TechSmith? Or is that just a codec?

Pretty sure "Techsmith" is the Camtasia codec ...

iVGA won't capture sound, does CamTasia?

Another route would be running it on a laptop or PC that has Y/C video (S-Video) out, and recording that to a DV Deck or DV camcorder, then capturing that vie firewire.

It can capture sound from a mike - assume it can also capture system sounds ...
