View Full Version : UV map can't be selected but needs deleting

I've made a model to export for a shareware game, but for some reason this has two UV maps available in Surface Editor (Modeller).

But only one UV map is visible in the pulldown menu on the lower right of the screen.

I load the into Blender for export to an .obj (for some reason, LW doesn't export .mat files which this particular game needs, but Blender does) but the exported .obj only gets the first, unusable/uneditible/undeletable UV map.

I can copy, modify and delete the second map, but the inaccessible map is the only one exporting.


How do I get rid of it?

-Also, is there a plug-in or something that will allow LW to export an .obj file with an accompanying .mat file?

I've fixed it, kind of.

Exporting to an .obj and loading back into Lightwave changed the order or the UV maps. I still can't get rid of that one, but now it's the second one, so when I export via Blender and load into the game model importer, everything works.
