Hi everyone!

I personally don't know much about Lightwave, I just run our small renderfarm (well, 5 machines!). Our renderfarm runs Deadline, which is basically just a managed way of sending commands to LWSN.exe on each machine.

We've got a problem with LW 9.2. I think it's got to be a problem with a plugin.

This is the error I have:

--snipped loading other objects here--

0: STDOUT: Loading "objects/all-weighted-prerig.lwo"
0: STDOUT: Loading plug-in
Exception Details
RenderPluginException -- Error: Instance creation failed. %1 This error might be the result of a Config or Content directory not containing all the files required to render this scene.

--snipped other error stuff here that doesn't seem relevant--

All the files are present in the correct place, and other scenes render 100% correctly (even scenes that use plugins).

To me, this looks like there could be a problem with a plugin thats used in the scene.

My questions are:
1. Is it possible to find out what plugins are used in a given scene?
2. Is it possible to find out what plugins are used on a given .LWO ?

Many thanks!

In a scene, that's easy, open the .lws in notepad or other text editor, and do a search for plugin :) I think there might be a plugin on the net to do this in LW.....

Ah here it is:
