I'm interested in learning LScript, but I'm having a hard time finding any solid learning material for it. I see books, educational DVDs, and online workshops for MAXscript and MELscript, but nothing for LScript. Well...I take that back. There is this one book that has supposedly been on it's way for the past two years, but after a brief email conversation I had with the publisher I don't think it will ever get published:

http://www.amazon.ca/LightWave-3D-8-.../dp/1556229933

I've found a few decent tutorials scattered around the web, but I'm looking for a proper learning experience, so I can learn the language from the ground up and get comfortable using it as quickly as possible.

Any ideas? Thanks,

- Dustin

Have you looked at the script user guide at http://www.newtek.com/lightwave/developers/ ? It's not great but it's a good start and gives you a foundation on which you can build your lscript knowledge.
