I have 26 computers that would be ideal for a render farm, because they came off of a render farm. :D I'm currently going through them and determining exactly what I have and which ones work. I think that they have Abit VP6 and BioStar motherboards. They are dual 1.0 GHz Intel procs or single 2.0 GHz Intels. Each one has 1GB of Micron/Crucial RAM (usually 4x256, but some are 2x512). NetGear newtwork cards, 4MB video cards, Maxtor and Western Digital hard-drives mostly 20GB, but there are a couple of 10GB drives. There are no systems on the drives. Just what you need for a render farm. I was wondering if anyone would be interested in purchasing some or most of these to set up your own person render farm? It'll still take me 2 or 3 days to finish going through them. If there is any interest, I'll post a complete list of what I have when I finish. Thanks!

When one can purchase a Quad-core system now for $1000 which is more than 8 times faster than a single 2 ghz P4 you may have a hard time selling them for much. You might get a big tax deduction if you donate them to charity.

Sounds interesting. What's your price for them, $200 or so?

I haven't determined a price yet. I still need to figure out exactly what I have. I did see where the price for 2 sticks of P133 256k Micron/Crucial memory on eBay was running about $20.00 or so, the ABit Mobos are $10.00-$15.00, cases are $5.00-$10.00, cases and power supplys $15.00-$20.00, etc. It seems like if I break them apart I could get $75.00 to $90.00 each on eBay. So, I was thinking that if any Wavers wanted them for a farm, I would let them go for $50.00-$60.00 each plus shipping. I have to finish checking them out. Some of the newer ones might have larger HDs, more RAM, different mobos, etc. I'll post a list
