Does anybody know if there's an extension pack or something that one can download to allow Windows XP Pro 32-bit to preview .hdr images in the folder thumbnail view?

I'm pretty sure there isn't, but XnView does it in its own browser, which is much better for browsing and working with images than explorer will ever be.. its faster, has every tool in the book, and is free for all platforms.

Its not free, but Adobe Bridge can view hdr images as well.

Thanks alot guys - I'm downloading the Direct X SDK now and will check out XnView today. As for Adobe Bridge and making thumbnail .jpgs, I'm still using Photoshop CS1 (haven't had a reason or the cash to upgrade quite yet, though I'm hoping that changes soon), which won't open .hdr images.

At any rate, thanks again!
