View Full Version : Set up multiple frames to render?

What's the best way to queue up multiple frames to render overnight so each one renders and saves in the format of your choice? from the same scene? from different scenes? Feel free to point me towards a place in the manual but I did a quick search and didn't find anything on it...

ps. not an animation, but just a bunch of different views, etc.

thanks all!

Just "animate" the camera. Each fame has a different view. 10 frames 10 views, or however many you want. Set up your Save RGB options, make sure your start and end frame reflect your range of views, Hit F10, go to bed.

ok, sounds good... I'm giving that a shot now... I suppose I shouldn't be trying to figure this out the night I need to actually use it, but it sounds simple enough... I know in the morning how I did... lol

Test it on a blank scene first and save out some black.

oppss.... I didn't think of that... or I guess I could have tested it on a really really small render size... oh well... It's rendering now while I'm at work so I'll really know for sure when I get home tonight!

I'm sure it will be fine. Just like saving a sequence of images.
