Hello,
I hit flay and saw MULE and some other network rendering apps that work with LW. Is anyone really happy with one they are using for ver. 9x? I need one to run screamernet....

Butterfly Net Render.

Spoke to Paul the other day and he's even going to add a thing so it catches that extra backslash at the end of the render path that 9.2 seems to need (see other threads on screamernet not saving renders).

Great product and well supported.

I've used the LightNet render farm for a few systems and it helped get screamernet up and running with minimul effort. It's also free so might check it out before forking over some money.

I've used Lightnet a few times. Its pretty nice for the price.

IMHO butterfly beats lightnet.

when setting it up you have to either
A) have net rendering set up already, and got all the paths right for plugins etc. - I reakon this is best if you are sharing common configs between setup machines like wot I do
or
B) let butterfly do it all for you - which will make copies & share them with the nodes.

How about Tequila Scream - Version two that supports LW8 and LW9 and Fprime should be out in the forseeable future. It's going very well in Beta as I type this!
