Is there any way to select a series of points on an object and have LW evenly distribute them and / or align them? And if so, can you also do this on a UV map? I would like to get a UV map to get much more straight and grid like...

Or is there an L script that would be able to do this?
:newhere:

Thanks for any assistance!

For lining up points check out this thread (http://www.newtek.com/forums/showthread.php?t=63618&highlight=line+points). Link to a plugin there.

Not sure about the UV map though.

Surrealist and zardoz: Thanks so much... I'll try a bunch of those scripts when I get home tonight from work. But it looks like the noodlekit or the awLineUpPoints will do what I need it to!

much appreciated!!!

just as a quick update the noodlekit scripts worked perfectly for what I needed to do. I had a uv that was almost straight but had a slight bulge to the entire thing, I used it to even out all the points to make the uv more grid like.... so thanks again for the assistance!
