I just wanted to say to NewTek, thank you for 9.2! It's a great upgrade, and I especially like the render progress window and new AA settings. This is going to be so much fun!

Yeah 9.2 is pretty good. I am hopeful for the future now. I am tapping my fingers and waiting impatiently for the Open Beta on 9.3 or 9.5 to start.

9.2 crossed half the things off my "What I hate about Lightwave list" but there is still a lot of stuff on there. Modeler needs some loving. Better OGL, consolidation of tools, fixing tools that don't work, and please interactivity to all the tools, or at least most of them. Oh and being able to export subpatched UV's :) That's my Christmas list.

I'm assuming to Photoshop. Currently, you can't export UV's in subpatch mode.

9.2 is a step forward for sure but still a lot of ground to cover IMHO.

Not to say I ain't happy, especially having an old PC, not many programs actually give me more power/speed with a new release! :)

Yes to export an image of the UV's that is subpatched. Currently I am using Lightwave everyday for work and the more I use it the more bugs I discover :)

I finally bit the bullet and installed 9.2. So far so good...

You could make a screenshot of the subpatched UV's and use that as the basis of your texture. A little more work, I agree, but it wouldn't take more then 5 sec I recon.

This is what you want right? (Don't know if we are talking about the same thing...)
