Does anyone know of a plugin for reducing polygons that works like the one in LW, but leaves quads if the mesh is quads to begin with?
I guess it used to be called qemLOSS, but now is reduce polys+. It has the interface to set reduction level and whatnot, but still, it makes triangles.

I don't know of any reduction plugin which works with quads, but I've in such occasions used Merge Trigons X, which makes quads out of tri's. It is free and can be found from flay.com.

co-planar poly reduction is stardard reduction in lightwave, whenever it makes triangles an lwcad make quads will fix it. Anyway i should lay of the beer.
