In VC 6
Doing the hello.c like many before me :)

Got the [9] SDK, have build server.lib
Everything else is like in the tutorial.
But I still get errors.

--------------------Configuration: hello - Win32 Debug--------------------
Compiling...
hello.c
i:\program\lwsdk\hello\hello.c(23) : error C2061: syntax error : identifier 'HelloworldPanel'
i:\program\lwsdk\hello\hello.c(23) : error C2059: syntax error : ';'
i:\program\lwsdk\hello\hello.c(23) : error C2059: syntax error : 'type'
i:\program\lwsdk\hello\hello.c(69) : error C2065: 'HelloworldPanel' : undeclared identifier
i:\program\lwsdk\hello\hello.c(69) : error C2099: initializer is not a constant
Error executing cl.exe.

hello.p - 5 error(s), 0 warning(s)

Any ideas?
hello.c serf.def shutdown.c startup.c server.lib are included

... :o

Can you post your source? Your errors don't seem to match Hello.c as included in the SDK...

Cheers,
Mike

Sure Lightwolf!

hm found an old post, maybe thats the problem?

Hello World compiles with the LW 8 sdk using the server.lib
The plugin runs in versions 8 & 9

Some "progress"
Removed server.lib and readded shutdown and startup instead.
Changed preprocessor to "WIN32,_WINDOWS,_X86,_WIN32,_MSWIN"

Now I get this:

Compiling...
hello.c
i:\program\lwsdk\hello\hello.c(69) : warning C4028: formal parameter 1 different from declaration
shutdown.c
startup.c
servmain.c
Generating Code...
Linking...
LINK : warning LNK4075: ignoring /EDITANDCONTINUE due to /INCREMENTAL:NO specification
Creating library Debug/hello.lib and object Debug/hello.exp

hello.p - 0 error(s), 2 warning(s)

Its fully working in layout but still..
