View Full Version : Cutting into polys destroys the UV

In 9.2 of LW when I cut into a object and have a UV visible in a window the UV points weld together

If I turn off viewing the UV and make the same cut and view the UV the UV is maintained.

The cutting only skrews up the UV when UV is onscreen.:thumbsdow

Do others get this? :thumbsup:

As far as I know, if you cut an object after the UVs have been created, it's going to affect your mapping. I'm not sure why you're getting the result you are.

I have seen the subpatch UV interpolation turn off and on again while doing stuff that affects the UVmap (maybe thats what you are seeing), but otherwise, I havent seen that yet.
What tool are you using to cut?
