Anybody know if Photoshop CS3 for Mac will directly handle Lightwave's .lwo files for texture map corrections, etc.? It is using a Lightwave render engine, so not having to covert object files to some other format would be very convenient.
Thanks,
Richard

not straight out of the box(OBJ and 3ds is supported). With the Newtek-plugin yes.

do you mean with the coming Rendition plugin, or is there an export plugin I don't know about?

Thanks Warren. So gone will be the days of uv maps, or will unfolding a model still be the best way to do the nice details?

Well,
not based on THIS version of Photoshop.
It seems kind of limited, like it might grow into better functionality in later versions but don't start holding your breath just yet.:)
(I'm talking about PS here. Rendition isn't out yet.)
