Does anyone know where a plugin can find out the GI settings for a render. I can find:
LWROPT_REFLECTTRACE
LWROPT_REFRACTTRACE
etc in globals, but I see no mention of whether global illumination is in use or what setting have been used within it. Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks!

I don't think the GI settings can be retrieved by a plugin, which is why FPrime has to have it's own GI settings.

Looks like someone forgot to update the docs. There is an LWROPT_RADIOSITY in the lwrender.h header file.

James: I think you're right in the past, and probably now for compatibility and flexibility they've left it the same.

Jarno: Thanks I'll look at that when I get home tonight. Do you also know if the rest of the radiosity settings can be read? (Don't have sdk at work so I can't look right now).

Thanks again!
