Do you know if the Quadro FX 1000 & 2000 cards can be used in the new G5 machines? in my opinion, a bigger card like the FXs is needed, has Nvidia said something about this? do we expect drivers for these cards soon? thanx i.a.

This has been covered in the WWDC thread. But, let me update you here as well. The Quadro cards do not and will not work on a Mac until nVidia and Apple develop firmware for the GPUs on the cards. The drivers that Apple releases may (theoretically) support them, but the on-board firmware does not work on a Mac OS box. And, from what I've seen in the Apple store, there is no Quadro option to buy. nVidia has maintained the same party line for the last 3 years: Apple is the only Mac reseller of nVidia graphics. So, no Quadro from Apple means no Quadro, period (I'm a little bitter about this myself).
