When I try to watch video tutorials from Newtek's site I keep getting this

Any ideas?

You probably need to upgrade your quicktime player to a more recent version.

Some of the MOV video tutorials require the EnSharpen video codec from here: http://www.techsmith.com/download/codecs.asp.

I have Quicktime 7.1.6 installed and the EnSharpen video codec.

If you are on a MAC, try taking the PERIAN.component out of the LIBRARY>QUICKTIME folder… if you have it installed. If you don't, you might download it. I find it helps QT to play some things, and stops it from playing others.

If you are on a MAC...

Nope, PC. Still have not figured it out.

Surrealist.

What browser are you using? Sometimes I get that with firefox. Also are you downloading it and trying to play it from your HD? That may be an option.

I'm using IE6. Downloading the files and then watching does work, so I must have some setting in IE out of whack.

you could try upgrading to IE7. I tried to replicate problem by changing settings and wasn't able to. I have IE7

I'm running Win2000 on my internet box, so IE7 is not an option.
