Up until 9.2 I have been using the plugin "Split Edges" to make seams for unwrapping UV's, but sadly this now causes errors.

LW's "Unweld" creates 4 points so thats no good.

Has anyone found a tool to create seams for Uv's in 9.2.

Thanks

Not exactly answering your question, but if you are trying to unwrap your model to get some nice UV's then I got to ask: have you tried the plg-pelt mapping plugin? It is absolutely The Best UV-mapping plugin there is for LightWave - and it's free! :)

All the other plugins here are wonderful too, but the UV Mapping Edit-plugin is a life saver...

Not to toot my own horn, but I've also written a tutorial that may be useful.

PLG is a great Plugin, but it cannot create seams or auto loop seams.

A similar UV editor to PLG with a decent tool to "Create Seams" should have been part of LW several upgrades ago.

I guess Nitisara has his reasons for not fixing "split edges", lets hope a tool like it is in 9.5
