Hello everyone. I thought I'd just post a link to a movie me and a couple of friends made last week.

We shot it over two nights so it's no master piece but it's for a competition on a site called Firebox so we'd really appreciate your votes. You can vote by clicking on the stars at the bottom of the video. Lightwave was used for part of it, the rest was made up of some very dodgy acting and a simple bedroom light to light the scenes.

Cheers everyone

Here's another link to a version that has a better rendered monster. The first version was very rushed as I needed to get the video in for a competition deadline. Since then I've had another look at it and realised that it had all its displacments missing from Z-brush. I've also lit it using HDR.
C/Cs more then welcome.

Wow! That was exciting & thrilling . Do you have any plans to continue? I enjoyed it a lot. I liked the way that you had the monster hanging from the top of the door way at the ending. Also a good choice in sound effects.

And yes, I did vote. I hope that helps.

Nice effort mate, lighting was pretty bad, but on the whole quite entertaining. Love the monster.

hmm.. i laughed when the first monster attacked. It looked like a cheesy mask lol. The second was better but lighting could be more sinister to hide the modeling a bit. like a silhouette style with glowing eyes. the modeling was ok imo.

I liked it, but it was a little dark. I especially liked the beginning when you were coming up on the house
