I have an indoor office scene, with carpet on the floor and windows made of glass on internal walls. The carpet has a tiled colour and bump image map on it for a subtle texture effect. The issue is that the carpet looks good but the carpet reflection looks terrible, it is all broken up as if the image map has not been anti-aliased. Has anyone seen this before?

I remember some bug where 'Mipmap' doesn't show correctly in reflections. Do you have Mipmap on for the carpet?

Yes mipmap was on but I got the same issue with it off...

Could you post a picture please? This could be a hunderd different things.
Is your ray recursions level set high enough?
Is you carpet normal geometry or are you using sashquatch or fiberfactory for it?
Do you use some funky shader on the windows?
Do you use jpg's for your maps?
