Hi,

Does anyone know of a plug-in that would allow me to lip sync spoken audio into a lightwave model?
I have a rigged model of crow that I need to animate speaking and would like to find out if there is a plug in that can help. The crow will be speaking a monologue.

best regards
JW

Depends on if you want real-time or a Morph-mixer replacement.

I recently purchased TAFA (Timothy Albee Facial Animation) for use on my first character project. It is a stand alone program with LW import plugins, and is basically a very fast and easy to use replacement for morph-mixer.

Here is a link to info of the project where I used it, including some details, stills and videos.

I also downloaded the demo for the one linked below, but never tried it, as TAFA was so fast and intuitive. It's supposed to do it automatically.

If you go to http://www.flay.com/ and search the plugs for Lip Sync, you'll also see a few other listed, as well. If I remember correctly at least one of these claims to do it real-time.
