Hi all. I have been reading a few forums about Perspective correction Plug-ins for LW9.0 on PC, but have found nothing for MAC.

Does anyone have knowledge of such a plug-in?

Thanks.

no, and this gap has yet to be filled... there are some ACT solutions around, but none is ported to mac.

i'm still having the hope that newtek will add an inbuilt solution (maybe as a simple adjustable ACT camera) for this, becuse it would be far more useful for archviz imo. than having 50+ SLR camera types to simulate...

ben, this is great in theory, but what is missing is a tool where we can match given backdrop perspectives with the render camera. this could work with ACT (in this case only fprime 3 would give instant feedback) or with a camera motion modifier. the ACT video explains how we can use a plane to correct perspective, but matching with a backdrop is only possible by trial and error - the same as when doing it by moving and zooming manually the camera until there is correpondence. what is missing is a tool (basically some interactive handles...) where we can match the camera view to the perspective of a given photo.

some time ago i posted some examples in and outside LW here:

the newer google sketchup's photomatch is an advanced example of this kind of features: http://sketchup.google.com/gsu6vtvideos.html

I have just ordered a new ProMAc. I will run LW in a Windows environment for these specific tasks.

I hate Windows, but such is life.
