Here's the start of my next character. Took about an hour yesterday to model. Just thought i'd see what you all think. Thanks in advance for any comments/suggestions!

Great character! Like the elongated style. I'd love to see him bodied, rigged and moving!

He has alot of character. Almost looks like a stylized version of your avatar. Can we see a wireframe please?

I dont know how close you want to stay to your concept, but your 3d model looks much older due to the heavy wrinkle around his mouth and I think that maybe his head is to round as compared to your drawing.

oxygn3: Yeah, i did stray a bit from the concept. I plan to add hair so maybe that'll fix the head a bit. As for the rest, i'll probably tweak it to match more.

vertiis: This is actually the first CHARACTER i've ever done with a background template to work off of. I was amazed at how much more efficient it was. just started with a subdivided box, nurbed. Then made use of the knife, bandsaw and extender tools, adding detail around the eyes and nose. Now if only i could figure out how to texture. Oh well, i'll keep updating him. His name is Slim. Thanks for the comments!
