When I use the 'E' button for a surface color in Surface Editor and open Graph Editor, I get the three RGB curves for a surface color. But they are set up as percentage values, so that when I keyframe a change in color over time, I don't really know what the color will end up being until after making a change and then clicking on the color swatch back in Surface Editor. The RGB values are ghosted because the 'E' curve has taken over. What is the correct process to do this so I have defined RGB values at each keyframe?

Thanks,

I think if you just divide each R,G and B value by 255, that gives you the percentage. So, if you want R=80, G=128, B=180, that'd be

R = 80/255 = 31.4%
G= 128 / 255 = 50.2%
B = 180 / 255 = 70.6%

Multiply by 100 to scale it to "percentage" compatible with the graph editor.

Right click on the key and select "Color Picker" (See attached)
