View Full Version : Export to "Save 6.0 Scene"

Hi,

I'm trying to work around some LWS compatibility issues when loading LWS into the BeyondVirtual (BV) 3d game/engine development app.

BV is supposed to work better with LW 6.0 scenes.

I exported my test scene to "Save 6.0 Scene" and still having compatibility problems.

I looked at the exported LW6 scene in notepad, and it's exactly the same as the 9.0 scene.

What's supposed to be different?

I'm way late on the beta effort, is export scene a known problem?

Export to 6.0 "is" the same as 9.0... It's for 6.0-9.0 which all used the same scene format. The format changed for 9.2... so to use a 9.2 scene in anything from 6.0->9.0 you'd use the export as 6.0.

It might not be as confusing if it were named Export 6.0-9.0 scene rather than just 6.0 which seems to cause the confusion...

I'm having some problems while importing files (rigged character) from 9.2 to 9.0. The scene file just hangs LW 9.0. Anyone else having this problem?
