Hey everyone! I hope you can help me.

I have to bid a project today, that includes importing a number of SolidWorks parts and assemblies into Lightwave 9. I vaguely remember trying this for a client six years ago into LW 5.5, and it was a disaster. I ended up re-building everything from scratch!

If LW cannot do this naturally, what are my options for getting this stuff translated, or using plug-ins, etc...

I am searching the web, but have only found some rather expensive solutions.

Any words of wisdom would be greatlly appreciated. Y'all are great!

-Ron.

We use DeepExplorer at work to translate all our stuff. Don't have a clue how much it is, but it translates everything to everything. Haven't found a limitation of it as yet! It's very powerful.
