I'm a novice user and I'm looking for some free objects.

Any suggestion where I can find them? Any links?

Basically I need a book object (plain and simple object)

Thanks

Anton

what is your criteria? just a plain and simple book? not animatable? type of book. old style, regular hard cover, soft cover, any textures?... if you need a generic plain old school, metal cornered 800 page type of book, i may be able to help you. seen a few online a while ago. maybe could even model you one. just need more of a "what are you looking for?" exactly...

Ok

I need to animate the book. (open-close / flip pages maybe)

Hard cover

I need to change the cover with the actual cover from a "real" book

I will do the same with 19 different titles (jus apply different image as the cover)

I'm posting the "actual" book that I need to animate.

I will need to change the cover for the other 18 books.

Thanks !!

The absolute easiest quick-and-dirty way to get a page-turn is to build your page object with it's left edge resting on the origin. In Layout, rotate the page over in it's Bank angle, and apply Inertia to the page object.

Here's an example, feel free to use it and kitbash it to your requirements.

I really appreciate your help

The book object it's just amazing and it's what I need.

I'll be testing some textures but I'm sure I'll be working for me.

Another question.. How can I "add moving pages" to the book?

I need more pages to move in sequence. You know, one after another.

Again thank you.

That's quite alright, Anton, just pay it forward to someone else who needs help when you have the chance.

The thought that's key to your question is: Each object has unique surfaces. So if you use multiple page objects, with different filenames, then you can apply surfaces appropriately.

You should be able to solve this from here yourself.
